Help Us Feed Hope at Live For One!
At Live For One, we serve some of the poorest children in the area—students who often don’t get a daily meal. For many, any food they receive at school is their only meal that day. Having students become faint or dizzy because of lack of food isn't uncommon.
Right now, in partnership with the USANA Foundation, we are able to feed students 2–3 times a week during harvest season, using crops grown on our own land. Outside of harvest time, we buy what we can from local markets—but there is not always enough.
Through the Feed Hope Initiative our goal is to feed our students every school day—5 days a week—throughout the year. A simple plate of food helps a child focus, learn, grow, and hold onto hope for the future. After all, it is very hard to concentrate and learn when you are hungry.
Please consider helping us to meet that goal with a tax-deductible donation.
