Help Us Feed Hope at Live For One!​

 

 

We serve some of the poorest children in the community. For many, food they receive at school is their only meal that day. Having students become faint or dizzy, because of a lack of food is not uncommon.

 

In partnership with the USANA Foundation, using crops grown on our property, we are able to feed students 2–3 times a week during harvest season. Outside of harvest we buy as we can from local markets. We do not always have funds to supplement our crops.  It takes $40,000 per year to feed our school.

 

Through the Feed Hope Initiative our goal is to feed our students every school day. A simple plate of food helps a child focus, learn, grow, and hold onto hope for the future. After all, it is very hard to concentrate and learn when you are hungry.
